Locating the Venezuela-linked Vessel 'Pursued' by American Maritime Authorities

A uniquely yellow-fronted residential building visible behind assisted us locate the footage.
Our team is verifying video footage and photographs circulated earlier today that show the scene of a reported car bomb blast that Russian officials say killed a senior military officer in Moscow.
Russian authorities stated that Lt Gen Fanil Sarvarov was inside the vehicle that exploded and that he succumbed of his wounds. An investigation is currently ongoing.
Our starting point to check the site from which the pictures were from was based on posts saying the blast occurred on Yasenevaya Ulitsa in the southern district of the capital city of Russia.
Our analysis employed panoramic mapping services on Google Maps and the local mapping service Yandex to match the unique yellow colour of a nearby residential complex captured in the footage.
Identifying additional structures, lamp-posts and the street layout confirmed the exact location the pictures were captured.
We also checked that the video clips were recent and that the images had not undergone digital alteration.
