1. Star Talent Palmer Available for High-Stakes Capital Derby with Arsenal

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca stated on the final weekday that Cole Palmer is ready to play for the squad's important top-flight fixture against London rivals Arsenal.

The young England international was unavailable due to a fractured toe sustained after an unfortunate incident.

“He is fit to begin and feature,” Maresca commented. “Everyone is happy.”

In the current campaign, Palmer has made only four appearances in every contest, netting two goals.

2. Everton Get No Explanation for Failed Gueye Dismissal Challenge

The Merseyside club were unsuccessful in their appeal against Idrissa Gueye's dismissal for a fight with fellow player Michael Keane during the squad's 1-0 victory at Old Trafford.

The 36-year-old Senegalese midfielder was shown a red card only 13 minutes into the contest after slapping Keane amid a dispute over a misplaced pass.

Gueye promptly expressed regret, and the pair were seen making up afterwards in a mock online video.

However, the appeal against the dismissal was turned down, and Gueye must complete a three-match suspension, making Everton depleted for their upcoming match against Newcastle.

“We challenged the decision and it was rejected,” manager David Moyes stated. “No explanation was provided for the rejection but we did appeal it.”

When asked about more issues from the incident, Moyes continued: “The matter was resolved instantly, it was done, that was it, we progressed rapidly and it was all sorted within the dressing room.”

3. Wissa Trains with The Magpies for Initial Session since Injury

Newcastle United's recent acquisition Yoane Wissa has practiced with his squad for the initial occasion since sustaining a knee problem shortly after his move from his former club in the autumn.

Manager Eddie Howe confirmed the development on Friday but withheld a potential return date for the 29-year-old.

The team signed the forward for £55m to replace Alexander Isak, who joined Liverpool for a record-breaking sum.

West Ham will have available Lucas Paquetá after his suspension, while Crysencio Summerville and Dinos Mavropanos are stepping up their recovery from fitness issues.

5. Gibbs-White in Contention for Nottingham Forest against The Seagulls

Nottingham Forest's boss Sean Dyche is optimistic that Morgan Gibbs-White will be ready for the side's at home match against Brighton on the weekend.

The English international was absent for the midweek Europa League match against Malmö due to a back injury.

“Fortunately, it seems to be calming down,” Dyche said as he got ready to face the Brighton manager's side, who have taken a decent haul from their last three matches.

“It’s similar to a sore back, but a waking-up sort of injury, one where you just rest awkwardly or twist funny. So we’re not anticipating, at this point anyway, that it’s very severe and it’s easing already. So we’re hopeful that it’ll be okay for the weekend.”

The defender was experiencing discomfort in his hamstring muscle after the 3-0 Europa League victory, but Dyche said the player “will likely be available”.

Meanwhile, Ola Aina (thigh injury), the midfielder (thigh), the winger (hamstring), the striker (knee), and Oleksandr Zinchenko (hip) are expected to be unavailable.

6. Oliver Glasner: Conference League Loss Will Not Hinder Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner believes that the disappointment of Thursday's European defeat to Strasbourg is a sign of how much progress the club has come in challenging on two fronts.

The domestic cup winners went ahead at Stade de la Meinau through Tyrick Mitchell's opening period goal but were equalized against by Liam Rosenior's team, who moved up to second in the table.

The Eagles now return to domestic action with a home fixture against Manchester United, and Glasner is confident his team can keep up their push for a top four place.
